Sonidos del Mar is one of two designer houses within an enchanting property with lush tropical gardens, just 50 meters from south Jaco beach.
The beautiful pool is between both homes and enjoys the refreshing sound of a waterfall. If you would like to keep the pool area private for you, you may pay an extra 50% of the total rental for 3 nights or less and 40% for more than 3 nights above the quoted rental price. If the other house has not been rented yet, then it would be locked off and not rented. During Peak Season, we only rent both houses together.
The owners' love of art and design shows in this incredibly cute house. It's luxuriously appointed with high ceilings, wood, fabrics, ceramic tile and other natural materials.
The Master bedroom has a Queen bed, TV and a bay window with seating. The other bedroom has Double and Twin beds. Air conditioning and ceiling fans are present in all rooms. However, the house is naturally cool thanks to the surrounding tropical vegetation and its high ceilings.
A professional grade gas grill will delight outdoor food enthusiasts. Sit by the pool and read your favorite book in peace, or walk to the beach or head to the close-by downtown area (12 minute walk or 5 minute drive).
There is no washer and dryer on site but there is a laundry pick-up and delivery service available from a local laundry at reasonable rates.
Pricing quoted here is for only 5 guests. However, the house is in the same property as another 2 bedroom house -Sonidos del Mar-. Both houses can be rented together for a group of up to 10 needing 4 bedrooms, take 10% off the combined price during regular season.
Please note that the house is only rented to families, couples and groups of women.

Sonidos Del Mar Rebecca S. from Port Orchard, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in November, 2011 Upon arriving at the house, we were amazed at the beauty of the property. We did have many problems with the house maintenance including: refrigerator died, breaker box issues that left 1/2 of the house without power, internet and phone died. However, all these issues were promptly taken care of by the property manager. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very private yet close to the beach and a short walk to town. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again. The only problem with the property is that you never want to leave! One block to the beach for surfing was extremely convenient as well as a relaxing sound during high tide.
