Stayed for 2 days in March, 2013 My wife and I traveled to Costa Rica with out 13 and 14 year old duaghters for Spring Break, WOW!!! This property lives up to the description, the view from the sun deck is amazing, the location is convenient and the beach was fabulous. Even the pool on the property is excellent. Riding the surf on the boogie boards we found in the closet was the cherry on top. Since this was our first stop on our grand tour of Costa Rica we had a rental car and there was even secure parking on the property. This is probably the best accommodations we've had for this price, Five Star value. Don't get me wrong this property is not a Five Star all inclusive resort so if you've had your fill of those and want to be adventurous then you should love this property. Do a little grocery shopping stock up on beverages and have great stay. All of the activities you dream of are easily arraigned. Plenty of good restaurants and anything else you need is near. Simply amazing Sophie F. from Bois-des-Filion, Quebec recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 We stayed for a week at Mar Arena #32 and it was really great. The property is located directly on the beach. It is a little bit further from the majority of the restaurant, but it also means that the spot is quiet. From the balcony you have the most beautiful views. The condo is spacious and the pictures of the space does not do justice to the condo. Also family firendly, we were traveling with a 6 month old and my parents. Overall a great spot. Very clean room, nice cool air conditioning, fabulous view, and Gabriel was always available to help us out or provide suggestions. There was only 2 of us, but the spare bedroom was perfecr for all our luggage and clothes we used it like a massive walk in closet! The batteries died in our remote and they were replaced immediately. Plenty of towels, warm shower water and all the amenities we were hoping for. We LOVED the oversized terrace. Very private and we enjoyed the company of a large lizard who lives on the roof. He was there to greet us day & night and never threatening. :) We loved the coffee maker, oven, microwave, boogy boards and washer/dryer. They definately made our stay more comfortable and accommodating. My husband is already ready to come back and stay "in this exact location". Haha! There wasn't any noise since the location is just south of the hustle and bustle. We rented a car and were pleased we did since we're adventure seekers. Overall we couldn't have picked a better place for our 5 year anniversary! Highly recommended. And this coming from world travelers who have recently visited Kauai, Belize, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Bahamas and more. Enjoy your stay! Stay at Mar Arena Jaco, Costa Rica A guest from Hudson, NH recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2011 Felt that the property could use some updateing. The unit was very clean and comfortable however. We were not able to use the AC in the bedroom at night as it was too noisy. Loved the patio and the pool was fabulous. The view and access to the ocean were great.The beach was clean and uncrowded. Felt that the City of Jaco left a bit to be desired. Its overall location was convienient. Overall we had a good stay. Mar Arena #32 is our favorite place to stay in Jaco! Reviewed by: Dorothy L. recommends this property. Stayed for 42 days in February, 2011 My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 6 week stay at Mar Arena #32. The unit is spacious, quiet and the location is perfect. The outside deck is large with lovely views. Many hours we spent sitting beneath the large umbrella. The pool in the center of the units is well maintained, large and provides welcomed refreshment. Strolls on the beach were something we enjoyed. It was nice that all we had to do was open the front gate and we were on the beach. The property manager was very helpful in answering questions and meeting our needs.Mar Arena #32 is our favorite place to stay in Jaco! I would recommend this condo. Julius K. from Waterloo, Ontario recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2011 I would recommend this condo for the following reasons. It is on the best part of the beach and it has the largest pool in Jaco, good security,good management. The cons, this is a very badly laid out condo. It has only one loveseat in the living room, no counter space for prep, and is lit with bright unpleasant lighting, the washer and dryer are were the fridge should be, the kitchen cupboards are made for giants. The beds are comfortable and there is Wi fi and cable tv. It's still a good choice, you're not buying it. We had a great time here, great sunsets from the balcony. Mar Arena on Jaco Beach Molly M. from Omaha, Nebraska recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2011 Overall our stay at Mar Arena on Jaco Beach was wonderful! The view is amazing and the grounds are impecibly maintained by a friendly maintenence crew. The rental unit was very clean and property manager very friendly and accomodating. The furnishings inside the unit are a little outdated but in good condition. The property is located a greater distance from town than I originally thought. I was told it was a five minute walk but it was about a 15 minute walk. Otherwise the property was beautiful and as promised.
