I would have wished for a kettle....choices were 3 quart or 12 quart...large difference. Cover was there but NO pot.Sheets and towels were there any good reason for this?How about a hairdryer? Mostly happy with Sea Gate 104 Brian K. from St Petersburg, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 The floors were very dirty. I would expect that after a few days on the beach but my son's feet were black from being barefoot inside the unit before even visiting the beach. The rest of the unit was clean and well appointed. Upstairs noise was loud at night. Other than that I would recommend the unit and especially the managment company. We had a minor issue with the AC and they immediately took care of it. They were also very prompt in any other requests or inquiries. Beach access and pool were fabulous. Grills can get busy so be prepared if you are going to cook out. The unit had been updated well and since the re were many comings and goings with the family, we really appreciated the 1-flight-of-stairs to avoid the elevator wait when dashing about. The beach was perfect. There was general peace and quiet at night but there's no question that kids above are heard thumping around in the early morning. Mostly a pillow over the ears sufficed. Location was uber-convenient - walk to 7-11 and sweet coffee spot, quick jaunt to grocery. What the doctor ordered. The living room furniture could use and update or cleaning. It was very hot while we were there so not being able to adjust the thermostat cooler than 72 degrees made for some uncomfortable evenings. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 This condo is in a great place, the beach was never crowded and there were lots of families which made it very pleasant. The condo was nice; I did wash all of the dishes that we were going to use as the first few I took from the cabinet were dirty. The kitchen was well equipped but needs a pizza cutter!! The furniture was comfortable, the double beds were "noisy"; every time someone moved they would squeak which was a bit annoying. The locked gate to the beach was very inconvenient, even though it was a key lock, the key did not work well and we were often walking around through the public access instead. The pool was frequently crowded; I would consider it to be a bit small for the condo. The same for the key codes at the pool bathrooms, it was really hit or miss if the code would work on the first, third or fifth try! Overall these were minor as the view was incredible and the beach amazing, even the charcoal grills were a plus! The updated bathroom in the master was very nice too. It was great having a washer and dryer right in the condo. The kitchen looked fairly new. We have stayed at other condos at Sea Gate as well and a few of them are outdated. Indian Shores is very quite area with great restaurants. The beach is very nice. Sand and dirt left under furniture - disgusting. Paint peeling in the bathroom and furniture that is stained and in need of repair. Not as advertised - property maintainence using noisy leaf blowers from 7:30 on - very, very disruptive and woke us up every morning. We visit the Gulf every year - this was the dirtiest and most rundown unit I have ever stayed in. Pictures on the web are totally misleading.
