Stayed for 28 days in April, 2013 Very musty smell approx. 2 weeks to get rid of itShower liner filthy, pillows filthy, patio furniture useless, curtians on patio door need cleaning, wood work on left wall needs cleaning, carpet needs to be replaced (smelly), etc,overall the place needs some tlc, would not recommend to anyone else, not worth the money we paid for it!! Chateaux is great VERNON S. from ST. PETERS, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 49 days in December, 2012 The Chateaux is a great location. Unit 103 needs to be cleaned out some. The closets have a lot of owners stuff taking up room. The furnace closet is so jammed, you can't get at the mops and brooms. Also the ironing board won't fold up which makes it take up a lot of room in the closet. The vacuum cleaner won't pick up anything on hard floors even with a new bag. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2012 The management company was wonderful and the ocean view from the property was spectacular but the interior was extremely musty smelling, in fact all our clothes needed to be launderd, even things we didn't wear. Also the living room furniture was very uncomfortable. I left having to ice my lower back and take IB every 4 hrs - not good! Best condo on the beach! A guest from ST. PETERS, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 42 days in December, 2011 This place is the greatest! On the first floor, just steps from the beach. The carpet keeps the floor warm on cool days unlike some 1st floor units that are all tiled. It has two recliners, two sofas and two flat screen TVs. That plus free internet and a completely furnished kitchen, what more could one want. We stayed 6 weeks this year and have reserved it again for six weeks next year.
