Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 This is the fourth year that we have stayed at the Chateaux and love it everytime we are there. Since it is a smaller property it never feels other run with lots of people. Hate to leave it when our time is up! Beautiful Indian Shores . . . A guest from Cumming, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in February, 2013 We enjoyed our stay at The Chateaux in Indian Shores, FL. It is a great location which is handy to restaurants, shopping, etc. The beach is outstanding. We so enjoy walking the beach and watching the sunsets. Throughout the day it is so pleasant to look at the water from the balcony and watch the waves come in . . . very peaceful. Unit 404 is very nice. It does need a few minor repairs . . . sliding bedroom door does not work and does not close so if someone is sleeping they hear all the noise from the bathroom being used. We did let the management company know when we left so they could get someone in to fix it. All in all though, it was a wonderful place to be on the beach. Everything was great except it could have been cleaner. The bedroom carpet and bathroom needed a deep cleaning.The livingroom and kitchen were big and nicely furnished. The beach front balcony had a fantastic view and the heated pool was warm and clean.We will stay here again and will recommend it to others. Condo ok, Florida lifestyles vacation not Bill N. from Grinsby, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2012 The condo was ok,after it was finished cleaning. Upon arrival the condo was not put all back together even though we were told it was ready to use. The kitchen drawers and appliances were all open, like everything was half done. The kicker though was the generous 1(ONE) roll of toilet paper we were given. When called about where another roll was, we were told "we are not a hotel " Really we did not get that when we booked it. The arrogance of the staff was mind blowing. With all the condo rental places out there you would think a little less attitude would be used. We will NOT ever use Florida Lifestyle vacation again.P.S. Wow - Great weather and a great stay A guest from North Prairie, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2012 We really enjoyed the sunsets on the balcany along with seeing dolphins almost every morning. The condo was clean and the fold out couch and fold out chair worked great for my 14 year old daughter and her friend to sleep on. The master BR bed was comfortable to sleep on. Kitchen was fully equiped (minus a blender) so good thing I brought my own portable blender! We rented a boat from Island Adventure Rentals (just across the street) and that was a major hightlight. It cost ~$279 including gas and we took a 5 hour cruise up the intercoastal! Saw dolphins and famous homes like Tom Cruise and Hulk Hogan's houses, etc...best thing was stopping at Kaladasi Island and walking along the beach - found a beautiful full sand dollar! Movwed from 301 A guest from Cliffton Park, NY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2011 We rented unit 301 through the owner. Because of a broken water heater in 301 we were moved by the rental agency first to 308 (where the keys did not work and was unable to get in), then the maintenance person on call had me pick up the keys to 404. This unit was not supposed to be comparable to 301, but it wasn't - less desirable location, poorer quality furnishings, peeling paint on the end table, not even a pen or pencil to write with. No hairdryer was furnished - I asked management to supply one and did not get any satisfaction, even though I was to have one in 301. Didn't feel like the rental agency did much to help make the situation as good as it could have. My Stay in 404 Dennis H. from Hamilton, Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2011 I really enjoyed my time in Indian Shores. There was one thing that bothered me about the condo and that was the leather furniture. I just could not sit on it without sliding on it until I was almost laying down. Other than that the property was nice and clean and the sunsets were awesome. We are already talking about a return trip next year. I had never stayed in that area before and I really enjoyed it.
