Traditional Lappish cottage at Laanila on bank of Piispanoja (Laanioja) stream. Swimming place in stream. Stream is in gold panning area, as can be seen from various constructions along it. Naturally beautiful, peaceful location on a slope on the stream bank. Streamside sauna lower down, with steps down to it. Services at Laanila.

Laanihovi 800 m, old-time Savottakahvila (café) 500 m. Ski trails 600 m, also illuminated. Saariselkä ski lifts 5 km, spa 3.8 km, shop and State alcohol shop 3.5 km.
