Im Zentrum des Skiortes findet man Tankstelle, Läden für den täglichen Bedarf sowie mehrere gute Restaurants. Die Gebirgsebenen ringsum bieten schöne Gelegenheiten für Wanderungen entlang der markierten Loipen, die sich kilometerweit ins Gebirge erstrecken. Am See Hartevannet kann man angeln und ein Boot anmieten, zudem gibt es dort schöne Badeufer. An weniger sonnigen Tagen kann man mit der Familie einen Abstecher zum Schwimmbad Hovden Badeland machen.
