We were very comfortable in this condo. It was nice and quiet. Since my husband was recuperating from his heart attack on Ja Irene & Hugh L. from Saskatoon, SK recommends this property. Paul the person we dealt with is exceptional. He is willing to help in any way. Suzanne in the office is also very helpful. We f A guest from Vancouver, BC Canada does not recommend this property. Stayed for 30 days in November, 2010 The banyon is impeccable in their maintenance and Captain Cook, with Paul as the trouble shooter, is first rate. The unit needs an update, and the air conditioner leaked, so we had to stop using it. The pots and pans are minimal, but again Paul came to the rescue, as i enjoy cooking. The kitchen needs a shelf to have some preparation room. I woould sugest a dishwasher, as many of the units have one. We are not returning to that unit,and we have booked another unit with Captain Cook for the same time next year. If the owners updated< which they should consider, we would as we love the buiilding, and the view. We very much respect and appreciate all of Paul's help. He is a first rate employee, as too is Suzanne. Property Manager Response: Response from Captain Cook and Associates We thank our guest for their comments, We have addressedi the aircondtioner leak. As far as updating, the owners are doing a little at a time, with the addition of new dining chairs this fall and new headboards and bedroom dressers have been on order for several months now. Our guests liked to cook so we brought in more baking pans etc. for their use. As far as we know the building is not plumbed for dishwasher or washer/dryers in the condos. |

Needs updates and repairs Ada A. from Arlington, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 29 days in June, 2010 The unit served our purpose, but would have been a better experience if some minor repairs and even some updates had been done. Linens need to be replaced, hair dryer shocks you, towel rack falls apart, carpet needs to be vacuumed under the sofa and around the edges, drawer fronts were loose, etc. If major upgrades can't be done $500 in minor repairs would help a lot. The location is perfect, Paul Tucker was most helpful and the building meet all our spontaneous needs(ATM, sandwich shop, little grocery store) I would rent the unit again if it is in better shape. The owner's have purchased new bedroom furniture, bed linens, bed spreads and new dining chairs. There is now a flat screen TV.
