This condo with central AC is new to our inventory. The living room has a flat screen TV, DVD player, full size sleeper sofa, and desk area. The full kitchen (no dishwasher) has a breakfast bar with 4 stools. The bedroom has a king size bed and 2nd flat screen TV. The bathroom (with tub) has a hand-held shower wand. Included with your rental are WiFi, free local calls and long distance to U.S. mainland and Canada, WiFi, plus parking for one vehicle. The 6th floor recreation deck includes heated pool, sauna, lighted tennis court, and BBQ area. An on-site sundry store offers beach equipment rental. Good place to stay A guest from Lebanon, NH recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in February, 2013 It was a comfortable place, well-located. We're older, and would have liked higher seats in the living room, but that's just us. The kitchen needs a broiling pan, and a few small plates. Another wastebasket for the living room would be useful. The bed is very good. The pool was nice, and the parking easy. It was, save one, the most commodious apartment we've had. Stayed for 14 days in January, 2013 My spouse and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks in Honolulu during late January early February 2013. Our Waikiki Sunset condo unit served as a great home base because it's location was within easy walking distance to everything we love to access on a fun n' sun holiday (beach, shopping, restaurants, convenient stores, etc.). A plus was that the condo rate included parking so we secured a rental car for visits to Ko Olina and Waimanalo golf courses and beaches. We cooked several delightful "fresh seafood" dinners in the condo's well appointed kitchen and enjoyed happy hour and dining on the ocean-view patio that provided great vistas. Every morning our breakfast was taken on the patio as we watched Waikiki wake-up. One morning - we viewed whale activity and on another a beautiful rainbow. We love renting condos or apartments when traveling to a destination for an extended period of time. This property truly exceeded "our" expectations. Bed was comfy, it started to feel like home. The view was very nice, a few blocks up from the beach and within walking distance from restaurants and shopping. LOVED that it included free phone calls to Canada, free WiFi, and parking space for rental car. Would absolutely go thru Captain Cook for our next vacation! I've stayed in this building in the past in a unit on a higher floor and it had a better ocean view but this one isn't bad. I like the location. I liked the way the unit is set up; handy kitchen, a desk where I could set up my computer, wall mounted TV's, etc. I've found the management (Capt. Cook) is alway good to work with.
