Great stay, as usual

Our month long stay was great, as usual. Paul was his usual helpful self. The unit was exactly as the photo showed, however, the floor is beginning to show some wear. The construction across the street is progressing quickly and by next year much of the sun in the afternoon is likely to be blocked and the ocean view and fireworks are non-existent. We will be back next year in a different unit and see how that works.

Would not recommend the Four Paddles for next year as the view will disappear due to construction across the street. The view of the ocean in Waikiki is a big part of our trips to Hawaii.

Stayed January and February. Nice condo and the building is well maintained. We have used Captain Cook Resorts for several stays in Waikiki and they do an excellent job. We'll be back next year.

We enjoyed our extended stay at the Four Paddles #1008. The building staff were friendly, the place was secure and clean.Our unit was lovely, great view, well equipped and comfortable. It is always difficult to be away from home for a month, but this was a nice place to land for that long. A bit noisy with traffic, but once the windows were closed, it was not bad, we slept well. ;-)Washer and dryer unit included, which is a must for longer stays. Overall, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have really enjoyed being in condo #1008 Four Paddles. We were here for an extended stay due to my husband's military duties. Originally we were staying in a much more expensive hotel with a small kitchenette.Moving to the Four Paddles was cheaper and a huge step up! Full functioning kitchen, well equipped, separate bedroom with a pillow top bed- very comfortable, lovely furnishings and a washer/dryer unit.We couldn't be happier and will request this condo again if we have to return in the future. The view is beautiful and anything you could want is within walking distance- beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. It includes one free parking space and the building/garage is locked. Very secure. Highly recommend it.

We are trying to get in touch with the guest to see what his issues were with the condo. 4/21 The guest has not returned our calls or emails, but during his stay the freezer element of the refrigerator went out and there was some food spoilage for which we gave the guest a credit. A new part was ordered, to date it is working well. The guest received a special rate during his stay as well. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. This condo is very popular and has a beautiful up to date kitchen with granite counter tops and all stainless steel appliances. We invite you to come and stay here to see for yourself.

We talked with our guest regarding the 3 she gave us for cleanliness. She said she may have been overly fussy - and the issues she had were with dusting. The condo had been cleaned after last guest departed and was vacant for about a week prior to this guest's visit. We checked our records and noted that a final inspection of the condo prior to this guest's arrival had been omitted, due to the fact that this guest booked and arrived same day. The final consensus was that overall the condo was in great shape and our guest would like to return.

The condo is very nice, very neat. For a short vacation, this would be an ideal place to stay due to the location.

The location of the condo, while perfect for short stays, is not one we would recommend for an extended stay unless one likes the noise from the street below. Buses, trucks, ambulances, fire trucks and police with sirens blaring at all hours of the day and night. There was really no way to enjoy sitting on the lanai just to enjoy the warmth of Waikiki. The location is within easy walking distance to shopping and the beach. The TV could use a few more stations. The kitchen could use a few more "staples" upon move in. The folks who manage the property were more than helpful and should be complimented on the spirit of Aloha that they embody. We felt totally safe inside the secure property, but very safe in Waikiki. People are so friendly and helpful. Great place to vacation.

We are happy our guest enjoyed their visit. This condo in particular is one of the best being newly remodeled with a gourmet kitchen and many upgrades. We will check to see if some stations on TV are not working. There are 80 available. We did not get a call from our guest letting us know this was a problem. The building is located in the middle of Waikiki which does make it very popular with our guests, but we agree there can be traffic noise at this level if you sit out on the lanai. Unfortunately we cannot leave any "staples" in the condo. We do give all guests a starter packet of supplies, but not including food stuffs.
