I have stayed in actual full condos before and they are typically stocked with some bare essentials just as ones appartment would be. Recommend improving by stocking such items verses leaving only 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper for a new guest for 11 days. Changing the cost on check-in A guest from Tazewell, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2011 On checking in, the Ala Moana required an additional $153 in fees associated with the rental property we rented. There had been NO MENTION of these fees prior to our arrival, and on my return, I did not find any contract which was supposedly emailed on 12/15/10. The rental agency credited back only $75 of the fees.This is a rental property rental, NOT a hotel room. As such, it should have had basic cleaning supplies, dish soap and sponge, kitchen towels, instructions on where to place trash, and the specific mention of "daily maid service" in the original write-up was simply inaccurate, as there was no maid service during our week in the room.The original rental agent we dealt with left before or during our stay, and it seems our rental was lost in the shuffle, along with $78 in additional fees which should have been reimbursed.This was a very poor experience in customer service and one I wouldn't recommend.
