There is public parking in the building for aprx. $18.00 per night. Long term parking is available monthly at reduced rates, aprx $125. A car rental agency, video rental store ,and internet cafe are located on the ground floor.The bus stops within a half block from the property and offers transportation to the beach, local attractions, Pearl Harbor, Ala Moana Shopping Center, the Aloha Flea Market, Aloha Marketplace, Hanauma Bay, as well as trips around the Island.

Stayed for 18 days in February, 2012 I originally spoke with a staff worker about early enter into the unit since I would be in Hawaii before my stay at the Island Colony and was told that would be possible since the unit was not a back to back rental. On the day of arrival I called early and was told things had changed that I would not be able to enter until 3:00 p.m. I explained that my wife was flying in from Baltimore and I would be picking her up at 3:00 p.m. The office staff said they would try to work with me. I gave them my cell number and received a call at 12:15 p.m. saying the unit was ready. Everything turned out great and I couldn't have asked for more "ALOHA". Good view, good location waikiki condo Reviewed by: Duane and Elizabeth A. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2012 The unit was close to the beach, shopping and dining. Comfortable lanai with a golf course and ocean view. Good bed and lots of towels. The pool, hot tub and sauna were clean. Island Colony 3509 Reviewed by: EVELYN Z. recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in April, 2011 The location of the resort was great. I had access to laundry and an in house store that carried most everything except for meat and produce and the prices were comparable.They also had a bank machine in the store and carried alcohol too. The swimming pool was being refurbished and will be great for my next visit. When available there was 2 hour free parking for loading and unloading by getting a pass from the security desk. The view from this room was absolutely amazing facing towards Diamond Head, the canal and golf course and also the ocean. The room had everything you will need including a telephone for local calls,internet and cable tv. I found a great savings having a kitchen in the studio as eating out all meals can be expensive. Overall I was very pleased with my vacation and the accomodations and will be returning hopefully in the near future.
