A car rental agency, video rental store ,and internet cafe are located on the ground floor.The bus stops within a block from the property and offers transportation to the beach, local attractions, Pearl Harbor, Ala Moana Shopping Center, the Aloha Flea Market, Aloha Marketplace, Hanauma Bay, as well as trips around the Island.

1816 Reviewed by: Kenneth P. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 We stayed at 1411 first and that unit was almost ok. Then 1816 which is a dump. I would recommend this only for college kids that stay drunk the whole time anyway or to people I don't like. The balcony had stained dirty carpet with an extra roll laying around which gave the feeling that we were sitting in a construction site on cheap, broken unmatched plastic furniture. The entry and bath has dirty VAT tile from the 80's. The water faucet in the shower is defect, there was mold in the coffee pot, there was black hairs in sheets to name a few. The unit has some odor that is hard to describe. On the brighter side the gym was nice and had new equipment. Also our contacts for the rentals were very pleasant and helpful and didn't hassle us for not staying the entire time we booked in 1816. For less money we stayed at the Royal Kuhio and the units were well layed out with nice hawaiian style and well furnished with full kitchen appliances, also the units were spotless, fresh towels were brought in several times a week. veiw is ok, short walk to the beach which is great. nice pool Reviewed by: Marlene K. recommends this property.
