Located on row 2 of one of the most peaceful beach areas on the island, is our 6 bedroom and 5 bath Cassina Hideaway, which features a main house, a guest cottage, and an inviting kidney shaped private pool (which can be heated for additional charges).
The main house has a double-width driveway that allows for adequate off-street parking and a convenient side entry door, which opens to the formal dining area and its table for 6. This area also features french doors that open to the front porch, where there are an additional cafe dining table with seating for 4 and a gas grill and pool access. The adjoining livingroom has a comfortable sofa, 2 stylish wicker side chairs, a flat-screen TV/DVD, and a front window overlooking the pool. On the other side of the dining area, an open serving counter defines the fully-equipped kitchen.
Off of the kitchen, a short hallway gives access to a full bath, a closed alcove with a full-size washer & dryer, and a bedroom (#1) with a queen-size bed and a TV/DVD.
On the 2nd floor bedrooms #2 & #3, each with 2 twin beds and a TV, share a connecting bath. Along the front is the master bedroom, which features a king-size bed, a TV/VCR, a large slider door to a private 2nd floor porch, a double vanity area, and a private bath with a walk-in shower.
Just steps away is the guest cottage where a covered front patio has an outdoor dining table for 4 that overlooks the kidney-shaped pool (heatable) and the landscaped yard.
To the right of the front door is a full bath with a convenient walk-in shower to refresh the salted & sandy beachgoers. Next, a galley kitchen will hold all of the snacks & cold drinks, as well as provide the means to cook a full meal, which can be served over the open counter to the dining area's table for 4. The adjoining livingroom has an overstuffed sofa, loveseat, & chair, a TV, and a slider door to the yard.
Upstairs is bedroom #5 with 2 twin beds, a TV/DVD, and a shared connecting bath with bedroom #6, which features a queen-size bed, a TV/DVD, and a slider door to a private porch with an ocean view.
During the summer season, the house & cottage are rented as one 6-bedroom rental.
Forest Beach stretches along the Atlantic Ocean between Shipyard and Sea Pines Plantations. Bike paths and neighborhod lanes on North and South Forest Beach eventually draw one to Coligny Plaza, the hub of the Forest Beach area. While competing with the natural beauty and lure of the beach, the plaza offers a variety of shopping, dining, and fun entertainment for the whole family.
