With a SHADED PATHWAY TO THE BEACH, and gorgeous HEATED POOL* & SPA (*pool heated for an additional charge seasonally, please inquire in advance of your stay), you will find it hard to decide whether to spend your days at the beach or poolside. You are also convenient to the Plantation Center with 2 golf courses, and paved bike trails leading everywhere you could want to go. New renovations feature updated lighting, kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and new furnishings. An ideal family vacation rental with 2 living areas (1 with a wet bar), open kitchen, and dining room. An large pool deck with gas grill gives you ample room to entertain. A king master suite on the 1st floor also has access to the pool area. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms, each with a full bath adjoining. 1 is a queen, while the other 2 each have twins. FREE WI-FI; FREE TENNIS at the South Beach Racquet Club; 4 BR, 4.5 BA, 1 king, 1 queen bed, 4 twins, 1 queen sleeper sofa; sleeps 10*Pools can be heated at an additional charge. Staff couldn't have been more helpful even available at 10:30 pm when the electric went out in the house and got elec company on it fast. Could have used a couple kitchen essentials (salt, pepper etc.) Also could have used a vacuum in the house and need to upgrade the Main TV. The pool was great but needed a cleaning (service showed on friday but decided to wait till after we left). Thanksgiving '07 A guest from Cumming, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2007 The house location is great for those wanting easy access to the beach(2 minutes)and bar. The area does become somewhat congested due to the close proximity to both, although it was not an issue in November. Construction noise was an issue for us but this will cease. The Vacation Company representatives were excellent. We will continue to work through them for all future Hilton Head stays, assuming that their customer service is maintained at current standards. The master bath needs updating. The capet is the bathroom smells. All th beds were extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were Theresa V. from Fox River Grove, IL does not recommend this property. Review of 24 Red Cardinal A guest from Atglen, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2007 The location of this house is great. Near the beach and Beach Club. Parking of numerous cars is a little tricky because of the driveway configuration. Unfortunately, the house was not ready until after 4 PM on Saturday, when all 3 cars from PA and TN arrived in the rain. Vacation Company did give us a $75 gift certificate for a restaurant, which was very nice. We are not returning this year because we need more space for a growing family. We had to call the rental agency to 1) have 30 bags of garbage removed off the back porch(they did), 2) clean the pool (they did two days later because the cleaning company was busy), 3) fix the hot tub (they sort of fixed it but it never worked right), 4) fix the brittle hot tub drain cover that cracked and sliced my daughter's foot. For $3000+ a week, I think the "service" end of the rental was lacking. These things should be inspected and maintained regularly for that kind of money.
