It is well stocked in the kitchen and no steps is an asset as are the pool and Weber grill with a gas line. We love it.and the rental fee fair. Aside from occasional excess of palmetto bugs the house the house is in great shape and we always try to leave it as found, ie replace anything that may break. Our family of four has stayed at this house for two years and is going back this summer. We loved the location since it is walking distance to Coligny Plaza and has easy access to the beach. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2007 We have stayed at 17 Bittern several times and like the closeness to Coligny and the beach. The house is comfortable, nicely decorated and convenient for families to share. We did have to wait quite a while for the trash to be removed from the previous occupants. It's not quite as convenient getting around on N. Forest Beach with the one-way streets and the congestion on Avocet, but we managed. A great family vacation A guest from Nashville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2007 17 Bittern was the perfect location for our family vacation. We were less than a 5 minute walk from the beach and the short walk to the nearby strip mall allowed us to easily walk to a great selection of restaurants. There is a bike rental place and we rented bikes that allowed us to take rides on the beach everyday. For 5 adults and a baby, we couldn't have asked for a better location.
