We were skeptical to begin with and weren't sure of what to expect. Some of the reviews weren't the best, and if we had all had some time we might have cancelled and switched properties. We're glad we stayed the course. All our fears were allayed the moment we reached. Outstanding location, a very decent property,which can accommodate three families, well equipped & maintained, clean, ocean facing balconies, well priced, private parking with security, close to great restaurants, etc. The only request I might have is to have better beds in a couple of rooms - instead of singles, perhaps a double or a king, would have worked much better. The bathrooms need new shower doors, painted and updated in general. The trash cans were dirty under the liners; there was sand left in the washer and dryer and some of the pans were warped. We were shy 6 pillowcases and had to use Tshirts on 4 pillows til Monday. By comparison, price seems a bit high compared to quality/condition of other units in Ocean One. Beautiful Location but Apartment Nothing Special A guest from Round Hill, VA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in August, 2011 Beautiful location, good size for family and guests, great view and beach access. Plenty of seating at table, etc. Kitchen had lots of cabinets, but they were more or less empty. Amenities barely adequate and certainly nothing special... low quality dishes and mis-matched hodge-podge of glassware and flatware. not enough storage dishes and serving pieces. Placemats stained and unwashed. Glass-top table was dirty, with crumbs and icing stuck around edges. Several drawers in apt. did not work, some handles missing. Generally, this apartment was okay, but I didn't feel like it was clean enough to want to unload my belongings and put everything away... lived out of suitcase instead. Furniture in living area smelled very bad as did a couple of the pillows. Balcony by bedroom unclean and unswept. Washer / dryer very noisy and dryer inefficient.
