Stayed for 21 days in March, 2009 We had an excellent stay in Hilton Head and we could thoroughly recommend this location to any other visitors. We were particularly pleased with the location between Harbour Town and South Beach in Sea Pines. The property is very close to the bike trail which leads one all over Hilton Head and walking the golf course in the evenings down to the bars and restaurants was a delight. Watching the golfers frustrate themselves in the mornings in the bunker just to the rear of the property was an endless pleasure. There was plenty of wildlife including all sorts of birds and even some spotted deer. Spring is a particularly pleasant time of year to be present because of the large number of azalea and rhododendrons surrounding the property. We did not have much need of the property management company since everything worked pretty well like clockwork. When my wife had a problem with the dentist and needed help they solved her problem immediately.Shopping on the island is very good and we thought that Publix was very good for general provisions, but you need a car.Bike travel is brilliant on the island and we found Sea Pines cycle center to be very helpful and they gave us an excellent discount. Riding along the beach in Sea Pines watching the dolphins play has got to be one of life's great pleasures.There are so may restaurants on Hilton Head and they cater to all tastes that it would be hard to make any recommendations. Nevertheless, the Salty Dog Cafe has got to be a tradition at South Beach although in general we preferred the Wreck of the Salty Dog at the same location because it was a bit quieter.For side trips Charleston, Savannah and Beaufort provide great outings.
