Good location but condo badly needs updating. A guest from Greensboro, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 Although there were plenty of plastic plants, the carpet was dirty, the upstairs bathroom toilet and tub were not very clean, the dryer takes around 2 hours to dry a load of light cotton clothes. Towels are almost impossible. The air conditioning needs updated as it runs constantly yet the downstairs stays hot (we had to keep the downstairs bedroom doors open all night until around 5 a.m. when it finally got cool enough to close the doors. The problems were also here last year when we rented the place. The condo needs some upgrading. It is old and showing it's wear. Better cleaning would help too. We love Hilton Head! John H. from Hartwell, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 Sliding glass door (pool side) could not be locked with a key. Maintenance ckecked, but did not have a master key. Bedroom temperature on main level, parking lot side, was warm, even at night. Blinds closed and curtains pulled all the time and temperature set at 70 degrees. Everything else was fine. Good location but needs renovation. Fred B. from Greensboro, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2011 We have stayed in this area for abut 30 yrs. But, the Ocean Club villa we stayed in needs work. The carpet had been vacuumed but needed cleaning. There were stains on the carpet in the family room. The master bedroom toilet was leaking and wet the carpet. We did not discover this until the night that we checked in. So, we had to walk through a wet carpet during that day. We called it in the next morning. And, it was promptly repaired. They also sent out a water damage company to repair the damage. And, they cleaned all of the carpets in the unit. But, we were inconvenienced for 3 days because of the repairs and fans to dry the floor. This had been leaking for quite a while and we don't understand why the maids had not reported this as it was obvious that it was leaking. The electrical sockets need repair as plugs will not stay in the socket and come out easily. There was a blender in the kitchen that had not been cleaned and bugs were on it and the kitchen counter. We had to clean it our self. The mattress in the master bedroom need replacing, also. Overall, all of this made our stay less enjoyable than it should have been. But, the office gave us a credit for some of our cost of renting. We will stay here again as we like the location. But, the cleaning maids need to do a better job of checking the unit out for problems. And, the owners need to spend some money on updating the unit.
