My Family's Recent Stay at Windsor Court 4501 A guest from Buffalo, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in April, 2009 My family and I have been vacationing in Hilton Head for about 10 years and have stayed at a number of oceanfront condos, primarily in Palmetto Dunes. We have found the Windsor properties to our liking. Windsor Court 4501 was a nice property, with an attractive decor and furnishings. The biggest drawback regarding the property was the minimal kitchen accessories. There were only four of us and we could only get through breakfast and lunch (barely) or just dinner with the plates/bowls/silverware available. This meant having to do dishes twice a day -- by hand or running the dishwasher (neither of which was time or energy efficient) . Very few serving pieces for side dishes. A single, very small cookie sheet for baking, no muffin tin. Otherwise, again, the property was comfortable. One of the features we LOVED was the keypad lock for the door. SO CONVENIENT. No leaving the door unlocked, no keeping track of keys, etc. Fantastic feature. Also appreciated the ease with which our rental arrangements were made. I worked with Molly Morgan Jackson online and by phone. She was very helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Your Express Check-In was also a big plus. All of our info, including the key code, was mailed to us, which meant we were able to go directly to our unit without stopping by the office - a convenience we appreciated. I reported a few minor maintenance issues: the ice maker was not working, the detergent dispenser door on the dishwasher was not latching, the television in the master bedroom was malfunctioning and an outlet in the living room did not work. All were minor and we preferred not to be disrupted with any repairs during our stay. We intend to visit Hilton Head again next year and the Vacation Company will be our first call regarding property availability. Again, my personal thanks to Molly. Comments about our 2009 Winter Stay @ 4501 Windsor Court North A guest from Carlinville, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 28 days in February, 2009 Since this is our 3rd winter stay @ this location, we are generally satisfied with this unit; at least until we find a better unit. The Vacation Company is the best on the island. The unit is in a good location. There are some problems with the unit, however. In the Master Bedroom, the TV must be turned on twice to get a decent picture; the shower is a joke with very little water. In the living area, the large window shutter needs to be replaced with drapes; the little chair needs to be replaced with a much larger comfortable one; the couches need to be recovered.
