I would imagine that incidents like this can be avoided with scheduled maintenance. Other than that, it was a great trip! Stayed for 7 days in February, 2009 Location, location, location.You can't beat the views, especially the sunsets. Our weather wasn't great the first part of the week, but it really didn't matter. The pictures on the internet, as good as they are, do not do the condo justice. In person it's spectacular: bothe the scenery and the lay out. The closeby beach was great to walk and dolphins frolicked a 100 feet away. We ate twice at the Wreck of the Salty Dog and once at the Lands End Tavern, both within walking distance. Meals were economical and well presented.Overall we were thrilled with the experience and plan on returning. Feb '09 at Beachside Tennis Condo A guest from Indianapolis, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2009 We enjoyed the month on HH and the condo was very nice with great views every evening of the sunsets looking toward Daufuskie. The condo and grounds were well maintained but it would have helped to have access to a luggage cart when coming in and leaving. Since we were staying for a month we likely had more luggage, food, and "junk" than shorter term renters. A friendly neighbor helped by offering the use of their personal cart.
