Shipyard Plantation's Beachwalk complex is just what the name implies - a short walk to the beach. Add to that a 1st floor, 2 bedroom and 2-bath, end unit with a cottage motif and you have all the ingredients for an enjoyable island vacation.

The front door opens to a brick tiled foyer and its built-in bookcase that is overflowing with all of those best sellers that you haven't had time to read. Just to the right is a bright and inviting living/dining room, which features a Flat screen TV/DVD, a sofa with 2 comfortable side chairs, and a bar cabinet in the front section of the room, and to the rear, a formal dining table with seating for 6 and a large slider door opening to a spacious deck that has an outdoor dining table for 5.

The adjacent kitchen, which may be entered from both the foyer and the dining area, has a cafe table for 3, a pantry closet, and all full-size appliances including a built-in microwave.
A hallway off the foyer gives access to a closed alcove with a full-size washer & dryer, a full bath, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and TV with DVD player, and the charming master bedroom, which features a king-size bed, a TV/DVD, a sunny windowed corner with a wicker lounge/reading chair, and a private bath.

Shipyard Plantation is centrally located on beautiful Hilton Head Island and provides easy access to over 200 restaurants, unique shopping, and world-class golf.The plantation borders 12 miles of white sandy beach and offers bike paths, lagoons, golf courses, tennis courts, and an abundance of natural beauty.

The Beachwalk section of the plantation has an on-site pool and is located just a very short walk from the beach. In addition, the golf and racquet clubs are close by. This complex is not equipped with elevators, use of stairs would be required. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.
