Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 The property was in a good location and the property management company was professional.The property inside was not in good shape and not worth the money. The beds were old and uncomfortable, so you couldn?t get a good night?s sleep. The TVs and VHS player were old relics. The couch and chairs were worn out and you sank down when you sat in them. Shorewood 302 A guest from Lawrenceville, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2012 We had a great vacation but the condo was a disappointment. It needs to be updated in many areas. Painting would help. The carpet in the bedrooms was very dirty. TV's were old & worn out. The stereo system was a portable CD player/radio. The door jams around the sliding glass door was weathered & deteriorated. If the condo gets updated we would stay there again. Shorewood 302 August 13-20 Tom P. from Columbus, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 We always stay at Shorewood & like the location & the staff at Seashore Vacations. I believe we have stayed in this particular unit before. This time, however, the place was a bit shabby. Several things didn't work very well. For example, the patio doors were very hard to open & apt to try to go off-track. This was especially annoying because I recently had elbow surgery & could only use one hand! One of the toilets wasn't quite clean, & various things needed repair, e.g. a small hole in the ceiling in the bathroom, a lamp had been badly repaired & looked tacky, etc. In the grand scheme of things, just an annoyance & not huge hindrance to our vacation enjoyment, but not up to the usual standards of our experiences with the property. can't beat the location. have stayed in several shorewood condos and this was most 'outdated ' decor , , , needed updating like A guest from Hamburg, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 when in the front units, be prepared for people using the grassy area in front of units. someone down on one had annoying game they played everyday, noisy. 1st floor (stayed there one) doesn't offer as much privacy as upper floors in back building. We have stayed at Shorewood on several other occasions but this is the first in 302. It could not be more convenient! Just a few steps to the pool and on to the beach. Views from this unit were fabulous. Our party's ages ranged from 79 to 10. Definitely accommodates all needs. Sure, the bathrooms could be updated, but hey this is vacation. Certainly met all our needs. Would recommend this property to any or all wishing to enjoy one of Hilton Head's best vacation spots. The gated complex makes you feel very safe and in a family atmosphere. The beach offers plenty of space and you never feel crowded.
