Stayed for 7 days in May, 2012 This was our fifth trip to Ocean one in the past 10 years, and we have always enjoyed it. This is the first time we had a ground floor unit, which was nice because we didn't have to deal with the stairs or elevator. Issues include little or no cell phone service in the room. We typically had to leave the unit to make or recieve calls. The washing machine was loud, the carpet was worn, and the front door would stick when closing it. You would have to pull hard, or slam the door to shut it. We did have a good time and do plan to go back. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 This unit was in a very deseprate need of paint, and the carpet needed cleaned or replaced. It seemed dingy. There needed to be more lightening in both the bedrooms, they were dark. They could also have used some 3-way light bulbs, it would have helped.Also you could use some stools at the counter between the kitchen and eat-in area. The unit was booked and billed as a 6-person unit but there was only (3) three cereal bowls for breakfast in the mornings. Also only one of the large burners on the stove worked, and the other was not level and the pan kept sliding off the burner while I was trying to cook.
