This villa offers WIRELESS INTERNET, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, full size kitchen, living and dining area are combined. Additional bedding for this unit includes a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and also two bunk beds in the hallway between the bedroom and living room which are ideal for small children. There is a balcony located off the living room which offers a nice oceanfront view. You?ll find Ocean Dunes located on the south end of the island, along South Forest Beach Drive, a short distance from Coligny Plaza. Ocean Dunes is an oceanfront property that is situated about 70 yards from the ocean. It really is time for an update, especially in the bathroom. The bed is the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in and has worsened substantially over the past few years. The unit is small but comfortable. The bunk beds in the hallway added some extra space that young children could sleep in or you can use for storing extra clothes and other odds and ends. Stayed for 10 days in September, 2011 We stayed at the Ocean Dunes Villas through Vacation Time from Sept. 19 thru Sept. 29,2011. We've stayed in 408 there for many years. And this year, as usual, our experience there was fabulous. This unit is very tastefully decorated and has a great ocean view with a balcony. We enjoyed getting up early every morning and enjoying the sun rise with our coffee on the balcony. We rented bikes and enjoyed some of the beautiful biking trails that are all over the island. I did a lot of running on the trails and the beach. The management there is extremely, professional, friendly, and helpful.Now we have made many more memories that we will savor for years to come at our favorite vacation spot. The unit was well maintained. The only item that I noticed and would like are ceiling fans in this unit. They are energy efficient and do not make the noise that the thru the wall HVAC units make. Might reduce the electrical costs. The one item needing attention is the area of the outdoor shower for all guests use needs better drainage and the boardwalk out to the beach needs extending, the area soft unpacked sand makes it a little more difficult for the elderly and handicapped to access the beach than say the Sea Side Villas boardwalk which extends past the dunes. Every property has some positives and some negatives but we would recommend and stay in Ocean Dunes again. See you later in the summer.
