A trip could go to Esbjerg with particular Fisheries Museum and Ribe - Denmarks oldest town - and finally Varde with its charming pedestrian streets. Fishing Museum in Esbjerg has a fine collection of fishing gear, fishing vessels and vessel models from across the country and also has a section with aquariums filled with various species of North Sea fish and a Sealarium. Ribe offers picturesque street parties with 1500 and 1600 century mark and has many listed buildings and the magnificent cathedral at the centre of the town. Varde witnesses at its core network of streets around the square and the church that it is an old city. In the Middle Ages it was an ancient trading centre. Worth a visit in Varde is the Kampmannske Farm and Sct. Jacobi Church.
