Nice resort "Eve Resort und Spa". On the outskirts, 2 km from the centre of Haren, in a quiet, sunny position, 1 km from the lake, in the countryside. For shared use: grounds with lawn. In the complex: reception, restaurant, sauna, massage (extra). Spa area for shared use, central heating, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Room cleaning daily on request (extra). Breakfast and half-board possible. Parking by the house. Resort: Well-known holiday resort with 22'000 inhabitants in the interior, 15 km from Meppen, 45 km from Papenburg, 60 km from Leer. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: railway station in the resort. Emmen (NL) 28 km. Groningen (NL) 80 km. Enschede (NL) 85 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Mnnster/Osnabrnck (FMO) 117 km, Bremen (BRE) 170 km. This state-recognized health resort is situated on the River Ems, 12 km from the German/Dutch border and 95 km from the North Sea. Haren has a centuries long tradition of shipping. 150 sea-shipping and 50 inner shipping companies have their home harbour here. Places of interest include the shipping museum on the Haren-Ruetenbrock Canal and the "Muehlenmuseum" (mill museum). Excursions to Emmen with one of Europe's best animal parks, Lathen with its Transrapid Test Track as well as Meppen and Leer.
