Hafenort Hals wird im Hochsommer wöchentlich eine ganze Str. abgesperrt, um dort einen Krämermarkt stattfinden zu lassen. Ausserdem 18-Loch Golfplatz in der Umgebung. Zwei Angelseen sind vom Haus aus zu Fuss erreichbar, mit etwas Glück fängt man dort sein Abendessen. Alternativ hat das kl. Fischerdorf Hou einen gr. Supermarkt, ca. 3 km vom Haus. Gleich nebenan liegt Objekt 12061.
