House is big, but not clean. Leonid B. from Mountain View, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 First of all we had difficulties to find the property location. The number sign was not visible from the road. When we came inside the house was bigger then expected and looked ok. However, when we opened a refrigirator a strong rotten smell hit the nose. The worse part of the whole stay was when my daughter said that she doesn't like the insects on the bed! We found three insects that looked like a lice. Disgusting! We didn't use the pillows.and covered beds with our bed sheets. In the adult bathroom there were ants. And the house has not been cleaned well. There was a spider web with a huge spider on the kitchen window. The patio was not cleaned as well. We did all these work. Seculuded Home Hidden High up a Hill A guest from Placerville, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2010 Very serene and peaceful - lovely setting. Although it was OK in the summer, you would probably need 4-wheel drive to access property in the winter. No lamps in the home to read by anywhere (specially by beds). TV was only for CD's or DVD's which was OK, but the DVD didn't work so kids just played with games we brought up. The only issues we had were the master bath sink kept clogging and the toilet kept clogging and not flushing properly. The beds are also very small, but the property was wonderful.
