This unit sleeps 6. King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

We had to wait 45 minutes for a room lockout due to a room key card computer glitch. There needs to be at least a maintenance staff member on duty to assist guests at all times. The unit we stayed in didn't seem quite as nice as the one before. We missed the fireplace in the bedroom and the nice towels and bedspread. This one just seemed a step down from the two we used before. I felt the front desk's comment about we were lucky the room was ready at 3:00 was also unnecessary since there were very few cars in the parking lot. Sorry this sounds picky. The condo is everything described. The only problem was that the pull out sofa didn't have any linens, which is mandatory for 8 guests. We purchased linens only to find out it was a hard sleep due to the bottom of the pullout bed being broken. Although the weather wasn't as hot as we had hoped, the heated pool was a nice amenity to the property. The balcony view is of the pool, which was great when the teens went down to swim. The only issues that we had during our stay was the iron didn't work and no sheets for the pullout couch. Since we didn't notice that there were no sheets the front desk was closed. We have stayed at MVLR the last 3 times we have been. The stay is always very nice and the location can not be beat. My only problem I had with 108 was the limited amount of dishes. In our condo 108 the table is too high. One of the ladies that stayed there with me had to use a stool to set in the chair at the table. I know they are privately owned but I think that the owners should have taken in to consideration the size, height and age of people that might be staying there. We really enjoyed being so close to the elevators. The other ladies that roomed with me can not walk long distances so it was very helpful to them to be so close to the elevators. This was the third year we have stayed there and except for the table everything was very nice. 2010 Mitchell Family Gatlinburg Vacation Mike M. from Cambridge, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 This is our 2nd stay at MVLR. 1st was in 2008. Since 1st visit I?ve recommended to 2 family members who have also stayed there. Overall MVLR is an excellent condo making for a great vacation.One word of caution. From our 1st trip in 2008 to our trip in 2010 I did notice the condition of the rooms had dropped a little. For example there were multiple spots on door jams and baseboards where white paint was worn or marred. Overall, this was very minor, but I'm pointing it out because I really do not want to see the complex not taken care of and get to the point where it's not longer nice to stay there. I've been going to Gatlinburg for 35 years. For the first 30 years we stayed at only one location, but in the last 5 years its condition has become so bad, it?s no longer nice to stay there.
