This condo has just been repainted.This unit sleeps 8. King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, sleeper sofa. kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

Master bedroom door didn't lock which made using jacuzzi and intimacy difficult with kids. Paper thin walls-neighbors above noisy and could hear anyone walking or talking down the hall. Jacuzzi had to be wiped down. "Mountain view" room consisted of run-down hotels beneath you...not a pretty sight. Would not recommend to someone in warm weather because you wouldn't want to use your balcony. The price was good. You get what you pay for. Wow! Where do I start? I've been coming to Gatlinburg for 40 years and I have NEVER stayed anywhere that even comes close to Mou Gina K. from Cincinnati, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2010 Honestly! I have stayed in over 30 hotels in Gatlinburg and this is by far THE best! Once you stay at Mountain Vista, you will have found your "home away from home." These condos are immaculate and beautifully decorated. They are spacious, cozy, comfortable and have every amenity you could wish for. Did I mention they are IMMACULATELY clean? That is so important. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool and pool area is very inviting and always well maintained. We just love this place. I will NEVER stay anywhere else. If I can't get a room here...I stay home! That's how much I LOVE it! It is a 3 minute walk into town. The staff is abosulutely first class. They are all so sweet and friendly and professional. I tried out the jacuzzi tub and found that the drain is tricky, you have to really push it down or you lose water. Also, if you take a bath in there you will run out of hot water because it is a huge tub to fill. These condos are right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg yet they sit in an area that is quiet and very relaxing. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. They have great perks for kids of all ages, i.e. video games and consoles to play them, 100's of great movies, great pool and hot tub area, etc. The only regret that i have is that i wish I had enough money to invest in one so I could stay there all the time. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2007 The hot water heater didn't work. We never had enough hot water to shower let alone make use of the hot tub which was part of what we paid for. We reported this problem the first day there and every day of our stay. We were never offered another room or any resolution to our problem. Service concerning this reported problem was not handled promptly. Even the repairman told us he would have come back after his first visit but he was not called at the time we informed the manager. We understand our miserable stay was not the fault of the owners, we have booked for the same time slot this year. The token we received as compensation for our troubles was insulting compaired to the cost of our stay.
