This condo has just been newly painted. King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

However, there was half cookie on the floor in the living room and an empty back of dorito's of the porch. There was also black mold in the jets of the bathtub. Along with that, lamps were unplugged for some reason, and of the three unplugged, two didn't work. The tv in the the master bedroom was completely inoperative. We were traveling with a child and my parents, so each room really needed it's own tv. The threat in big bold letters about the $250 cleaning fee if the place wasn't left in perfect condition falls flat as it wasn't completely clean when we arrived. The discoveries we made were after we got back from the Dixie Stampede, so of course, there was no one to express our complaints to. When checking out, we described the situation and the clerk simply said, we'll look into it. No apology, no offer of compensation, nothing. So off we went. And as Gatlinberg has no shortage of other places to choose from, we will do so on our next trip. Even though our power went out in this unit, we were moved quickly to another unit with the same home feeling atmosphere. The kitchen was very well equipped. The condo is close enough you can walk to down town Gatlinburg and not have to fight the traffic, or the trolley will pick you up at Baskins Creek. We just don't have anything negative at all to say about the condo. Baskins Creek is consistently clean, all condos are beautifully furnished ( and we have stayed in a lot of different ones on every floor except 5th), marvelous pool and hot tub, love the outdoor seating that is available, always enjoy the tub in the master bedroom, the walking location to everything especially the Village is impossible to beat! Matter of fact Mary Jane(Huskey)Ogle's cabin historical site is just a couple blocks away. The rooms were exellent. We were within walking distance from the main street and attractions of Gatlinburg. We weren't up on a mountian so the view wasn't spectacular ( mostly the surounding motels), I had a view over the courtyard with the pool/outdoor jacuzzi, which was very nice and well landscaped.The location was peaceful and quiet. We could sit on the balconies and relax. Over all I give them an exellent review. I plan on using them for any future trips there.
