New painted condo..King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

Condo 214 August 2012 A guest from Racine, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 We arrived a day early and were able to check in without a problem. The condo itself was wonderful. Condo 214 is at the end of the hallway farthest from the elavator. It has a view of the pool and you can hear the stream running next to the building from your balcony. We never heard any noise from the surrounding condos. The condition of the condo itself was very good. Whenever I check into a hotel or condo, I complete a thorough check for damage/missing items etc....There was only a few minor spots on the carpet along with a couple scuff marks on the walls. In the 2nd bathroom you could tell where they fixed a part of the wall by the shower head (very minor). There was also a remote control missing, which the front desk replaced right away. The girls at the front desk were always helpful and professional. The complex is just a short walk to the main strip and I felt safe allowing the kids to stay out late. Also the only way to get into the condo at night is by using your room key in the elevator located in the parking area. It would be nice if the pool was open a little later than 10pm since most people are just returning from doing all the touristy things at that time. One must thing to do (and its free) is to drive the roaring fork motor trail. It is really easy to get to from the condo. We drove it once during the day "the views are breathtaking", and once at dusk. At dusk you can really hear all the water and nature that surrounds you. We even saw an owl during the drive. The overall stay was great.. We will definitley return. The only thing that would be nice, would be some sort of maid service during the stay. Love the condos, they are perfect and lovely, lots of room and nicely appointed. If I had anything to offer it would be that the kitchens are a tad bit sparse for cooking utensils, storage containers, bowls etc. The dishes are VERY heavy (guess you need it to be because of all the use) but overall a very nice place. I would recommend. The staff are lovely and always willing to help and answer questions and help with anything needed. The units are quiet and clean. When we arrived at the Mountain Vista Luxury Resort, our accomodations delighted every one of our family of six, and all for different reasons. My older parents, already exhausted from the first leg, took one look at the plush king-size bed, the comfy sitting area, the view of the mountains from the balcony, and promptly had a three day vision of relaxation and rest. While my sister and I were most satisfied with the spick and span cleanliness of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen, the fact that all the attractions were within walking distance, and the opportunity to save money by preparing our meals and having family dinners like we did at home. And, the kids were simply in love with the giant screen tvs in every room which allowed them to watch their own shows, the chance to frolick in the pool, and the availability of XBOXs and movies for little or no cost. For us, Gatlinburg was the brightest spot on what would have otherwise been just a typical roadtrip!! This condo is a very comfortable walk from the strip. It is about three blocks from the back entrance into the Village. It is not straight up hill either like some that advertise to be ?within walking distance?.The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The master bath is awesome with a huge shower and big vanity. There was also a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom.We have also stayed at the Gatehouse which is very nice and a little more upscale with granite countertops and such, but the location of this condo make it a winner.My only complaint is not really the fault of the condo, but I want to warn as many people as possible. My daughter became very ill with strep throat and we asked the desk about a clinic. Being that it was New Years Day, they gave us a flyer sent to them from a PM-ER clinic in Pigeon Forge?Dr Bryan Smith (actually Dr Nelson Bryan Smith). This guy is, in my opinion, an unethical rip-off artist posing as a doctor. Google his name or the clinic and you will find several complaints. We were charged $729.00 (must pay right then) for her visit and the same visit one year earlier (ironically to the day) at our local clinic was less than $200.00. We did not feel like we had any options, but now know that we should have gone to the ER in Sevierville. The only complaints we had was that the front desk was really not manned very well, but it worked out. There was not enough towels or pans to cook with. The dryer was not good - it would take one and a half hours just to dry 5-6 towels. It was a beautiful property and we really enjoyed it.
