Newly Painted in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

The property was beautiful and the room was better than any hotel or cabin we found at comparable prices. The staff was very friendly, as well. So quite and peaceful. It may be off season then, but its so nice and easy to get in and out of places. The walk down to the main strip is short and even easy with the four young ones we had with us. We stayed in room was beautiful and "immaculate"!I've never stayed at a cleaner place than this. I even saw an employee vacuuming the parking lot! (which is a "covered" parking lot - nice!).The units are very roomy with contemporary decor and just a touch of rustic atmosphere. There were more amenities than I expected: dishes, pans ,high quality utensils, glasses, dishwasher - even a washer/dryer and plenty of towels, and, of course, a fireplace, patio, Jacuzzi tub, etc. At this time of year the condo had a special - stay 3 nights and the 4th night is free, so after researching for 2 days, reading reviews of many hotels (not so good reviews) and finally after seeing the pictures of this room - it was a "no-brainer" to book this condo for 5 days. However, I was still surprised at the great value of the place.The condos are located on Woliss Lane, but it is only a 5 minute walk to downtown Gatlinburg - well worth it. We plan on coming back next year and definitely staying here. I highly recommend the Baskins Creek Condominiums! This was our first visit this year and we took both our widowed mothers(78 and 85 years of age) as well as our 12 year old son and ourselves. Differant family members have stayed here before but we always opted to stay in a motel. After this trip we will probably never stay in a motel again. The unit, the grounds and the wonderful staff were beyond our expectations. We have access to resorts all over the world but to have that luxuary in Gatlinburg was wonderful. For ourselves and our son the location will be fine, but with both mothers and their walkers, our only inconvience was having to drive downtown, unload everyone and find a parking placef, but that was fine. Great for convenience if you like to walk since only 1/2 mile or less to downtown area with attractions, shopping, and restaurants. The trolley also stops outside the condo, but we did not have a chance to use it. Note the condo is on a crowded side street, so the mountain view is actually a view looking over the top of existing older homes and buildings, but it's still very nice and worth the money to stay here.
