This condo has just been freshly painted.King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Living room has a 42 in. flat screen. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

My one complaint was the housekeeping was not up to expectations. The light fixtures over the bar had dust build up inside them. The mirrow in the dressing area was wiped at but not thorough cleaned. I notice some other issues that I can't remember right now that was a sign of less than expected housekeeping. I may be over critical as I had a great cleaning crew who took care of my place while I owned it. I never had bad feedback on the cleanliness.I do like the location,security and parking at the condoes. I may have had one less than expected experience this time and may stay there on a future trip to make a final decision if this is the norm or just a one time thing. They are always clean and decorated very nice. This is our favorite place to stay when we come to Gatlinburg. Its so close to walking around town without having to get in your car to go somewhere. We have always had a good experience there. The only inconvenience this stay was our gas fireplace went out on the second day. We enjoy a fireplace. Mountain Vista - 2nd Honeymoon A guest from Cullman, AL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2007 After driving around for almost an hour trying to find the property, we finally caught a glimpse of the very small property sign. The first disappointment was finding that the room we rented online, which boasted a "Mountain View," to our dismay actually turned out to be a perfect view of the run-down hotel next door, along with an impeccable view of the waterless swimming pool, which was located directly beneath our room's small balcony. Therefore, after much negotiation, we were able to move to a room on the other side of the property, which supposedly offered a better view, but overlooked the Hispanic convenience store around the corner. Nevertheless, our ultimate complaint was that the telephone in our new room did not work. This was extremely inconvenient as both my wife and I needed to keep in contact with family members in our home state of Alabama. We had no reception using either one of our cell phones, and had we known that we would not have telephone service in our room, we would not have purchased a phone calling card. Other than the afore mentioned negative aspects, we enjoyed our stay at Mountain Vista. The property is in a good location that is within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg.
