King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 Clean and comfortable accommodation with ample room for our family of 3 young children. The rooms were well equipped with extra bedding and towels. Check-in was made convenient even though we arrived late after reception was closed. Easy 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants of Gatlinburg. Next time we would prefer to stay further from the touristy part of the town, and enjoy the National Park rather than the commercialized strip. I get a discount from my workplace,but found that MVLR got a better discount so I waited to purchase tickets when we arrived only to find out that the front desk was unable to purchase the tickets for me at the advertised price. After multiple phone calls to MVLR and Dollywood, I was unable to purchase tickets for the discounted price. After we left the condo to go to Dollywood and after approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and even more phone calls to MVLR and Dollywood, we learned we could now purchase the tickets at the condo. Property Manager Response: Response from Mountain Vista Luxury Rentals Hi Josh, I am sorry that you had a problem with the ticket purchase. However, Dollywood had issues with their service the whole weekend, not just at the time you were wanting to purchase tickets. They told us the following day that their system had been down most of the holiday weekend. I know this was an inconvenience to you but it was also an inconvenience to us as well. We thoroghly enjoyed it and the only complaint was the uncomfortable steel chairs on the deck. Some units have very nice padded chairs but ours had the steel furniture. This year we found that the unit 506 was not as well maintained as 404. We found screws missing or loose in the dishwasher, bathroom cabinets and towel racks. The apartment walls are scarred and really need some touch up paint. The only other complaint is that the wireless internet has a low signal a lot of the time. I am no sure whetehr it is the placement of the boosters or something else but it came and went from low to good which made downloads slow at times. Overall, it is a great place to stay. I have pointed out some very minor things which would not affect our decision to stay there again. The on site manager, Leah is a joy to work with and always has a smile:) We looked at other places to stay last year and this year while riding around but found no place better suited to our needs than Baskin Creek.It is becoming our home away from home.
