It was very clean and well kept. My wife and I had a wonderful and romantic getaway. My only complaint would be the hidden fees that I was not made aware of until check in as well as the list of cleaning instructions given for checkout.i felt that we payed a large amount of money to do the maids job. Also the location was beautiful yet hard too find in the twisting mountain roads. Also the driveway was very steep and slippery. Overall though it was a beautiful and cozy cabin. It is definately on the mountain side with great views. Visitors just need to be prepared to bring things such as soap, coffee, coffee filters. Linens are not changed out daily so you will need to be prepared to exchange in the office in town or bring laundry detergent. Would have liked for the hot tub to have had more aeration. The driveways leading to the cabins are quite steep. Overall, it was a great experience! Would definately recommend the cabin. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cabin. The hot tub was not warming when we arrived, but the maintenance showed up quickly and reset it. Hot in no time!!!! The cabin is quiet and relaxing. We felt the price was reasonable for the cabin. The cabin could use some decorating tips. It is a nice cabin but needs uniformity in decorating and little sprucing up. I liked the bear theme going with the name, but then you had a few safari items. The lightening in the kitchen needed to be better, bulbs were out on stove top and oven. I would stay there again, it was priced right for what you got. The bathroom drain was very slow and need to be cleaned out. We had a wonderful time in the area and the weather was great!! Great stay, but have a few suggestions A guest from Nashville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 We stayed at this cabin on the business weekend of the year. Took us all day to get to the cabin from Nashville due to heavy traffic in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was great though and very clean. I would like to come back another weekend. There were only two issues: there were no instructions for the TVs so we had to have someone come to fix one of them. Also, was told someone would be there in the AM and the AM staff said 12 or later. Once it was fixed, we knew how to fix it if the problem happened again. Biggest issue was wireless box in the bedroom. Flashes all night long and was disturbing our sleep. I would suggest moving the box to another room.
