We wanted to lounge around in the cabin, watch tv or movies. However, the satellite system was VERY frustrating. There was such a delay on changing the channels we finally gave up. Had we known there wasn't the option to rent movies we would have brought some. While the cabin is great to "get away" for those of us who enjoy watching good movies it was a disapppointment. a suggestion would be to enable guests to rent movies and add to their bill. additionally, the satellite system was a nightmare to navigate. The porches were just great for the veiw of the mountains. We enjoyed every morning with coffee just watching the birds and the fog roll across the mountains. The hot tube was so relaxing. Very cozy, and had all the amenities.Negative side was that the floors were not clean (turns out their vacuum was not working properly), the oven had burnt food on the bottom floor that caused the cabin to fill with smoke for the first two nights when the oven was turned on (I went out the next day and bought oven cleaner and cleaned it myself), and I was a little disappointed that I could hear so much traffic noise. The bed was way too soft and we sank way down in it. We did not get much sleep because of the bed. The cabin needs a more firm mattress and then it would be perfect. It's important to get a good nights sleep while on vacation, so if a firm mattress is put on the bed, we would stay there again. If not, we won't stay there again for that reason.
