Arrival by car: From Munich follow the A95 until the motorway ends. Eschenlohe - from there on the B2 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Drive through the village of Oberau and the bypass tunnel in Farchant. Immediately after the end of the tunnel, turn right towards Garmisch, Reutte / Tyrol. Follow the main road into the center of Garmisch (Church, Marienplatz). At the traffic lights in the town center, turn left towards the mountain--at the next traffic lights turn right into St. Martin street. Go straight and take the second street on the left (Riesserkopfstrasse). At number 33 you have reached your destination.
Arriving by train: from almost all major German cities there are excellent direct connections with the ICE to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Likewise, there are one/every two hour connections to and from the Munich main station.
