Garden City Stay A guest from Goshen, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in May, 2013 Condo was ocean front. The wife and kid could walk right out on the beach or enjoy the pool on the deck. Our condo was very clean and had everything you needed. Lauren at Garden City Reality was very helpful also. Management went beyond the call of duty A guest from Vandalia, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 17 days in August, 2012 We originally booked Surfmaster 309, but due to the water damage we asked to be moved. The gentleman at Surfmaster did everything possible to make sure that we were provided with a great alternative. He gave us a choice of 5 different condos that we could move to without an additional charge. Horizon East 803 was just fantastic, two bedrooms and two baths, beautiful furniture and a great location. The maintenance of the building was first class. We had previously only rented from Dunes, but from now on we will only rent from Garden City Realty. To say that we were impressed with the way we were treated is an understatement. The only negative was that it didn't have a frying pan big enough to fry eggs, so we purchased one and brought it home. We plan on renting from them again next summer. Overall a Good experience A guest from Cambridge, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in August, 2012 The property is in the midst of renovations and for the most part that was positive because of the updates but there were a few draw backs as well. We were woken up a couple mornings with work being done in the unit above as the most notable exception. The washing machine was broken when we got to the unit and they repairmen came on the first Monday we were there and tried but did not fix it and they were back on the Wednesday and decided it needed a part...that was the last we heard of it and it was still not working properly when we left 10 days later.The biggest issue to us was that no one called to follow up and see if it was fixed to our satisfaction. The only other things we noted were that the unit needs more than 2 outside chairs (sleeps 6),The building security is great and there was always an elevator quickly available. The layout of the unit was excellent, the a/c worked great as did the appliances. The location on the beach is great as its a short walk to the pier and there are lifeguards nearby as well.
