Um die Kirche herum liegt das alte Stadtviertel mit Præstegade und Adelgade, die in den letzten hundert Jahren fast unverändert geblieben sind. In der Adelgade gibt es auch einen Bischofshof von 1401, mit wechselnden Ausstellungen, die es sich zu besichtigen lohnt. Ein weitere schöner Ausflug führt an der Küste entlang zur Fährverbindung Rørvig-Hundested und danach weiter mit einer kleinen Fähre von Lynæs nach Kulhuse.
