Für die Kinder gibt es einen Spielplatz in der Nähe. Ca. 800 m bis zu einem Hundewaldgebiet. Lild Strand ist ein kleiner, ruhiger Fischerort, wo die Boote noch immer nach dem Fischfang an Land gezogen werden und man frischgefangenen Fisch kaufen kann. Die Gegend ist von schöner Natur geprägt und noch nicht vom Tourismus überlaufen. Eindrucksvolle Vogelgebiete sind Vejlerne und der Vogelberg Bulbjerg, von wo aus man eine phantastische Aussicht hat. Andere Attraktionen sind z.B. das Vigsø Badeland oder der Hanstholmer Hafen.
