This wonderful ground floor apartment is located in the heart of the Oltrarno, close to the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. It has been carefully renovated to retain the wonderful original vaulted ceiling and exposed stonework as well as the unique layout of a Tuscan villa. It makes a lovely holiday accommodation or long term home in Florence.

The apartment is made up of two one-bedroom apartments (Velluti Sauna + Velluti Corte) providing two-bedrooms, three bathrooms, a small gym, a private courtyard and a large Jacuzzi tub.

The first level features a high-ceilinged lounge, which opens up to the private and quiet internal courtyard, one of the well-equipped kitchens, the master bedroom, with a queen-size bed and en-suite marble bathroom with shower, a second bedroom located on a mezzanine level over a second seating area, a second full bathroom and a separate WC.

A staircase leads down to the second level, where there is a corridor overlooking a 12th century well, from which you can access the large kitchen and dining area and a second room that is fitted with a full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, that can be used as a third bedroom or spa.

Great location with lots of space TK from Leavenworth, KS, Stayed for 0 days in March, 2013 We had a great time in Florence staying at the apartment. It was very large for the four of us. A very nice surprise which made our stay more pleasant and much Keiti from Wolverhampton, Stayed for 0 days in April, 2012 We found this apartment after a week of searching for a place to stay in Florence which turned out to be the hardest job so close to Easter. We were finally offered this apartment which we initially were cautious about as it was not in the heart of the historical center, and was free..so why, we wondered.. Now, five minutes after I arrival we were greeted by most pleasant young man who checked us in and spent nearly an hour helping us settle in the place and telling us all the things we would have not know about the city and the area - like the fantastic restaurant behind the flat (it turned out it was next to the best ice cream place that we found - so not far to go for your desert; and next to a lovely little cafe and pub with the most amazing wine - all three within 30 seconds walk from the apartment!). The area turned out to be great and very close to the main attractions of the city, and less noisy than other parts, with high quality cafes and restaurants. As for the apartment itself - it is quite amazing! We spend at least half an hour walking around and fining interesting things about it like floor lights, a Jacuzzi, ancient statute in the courtyard, amazing old furniture and paintings, an old traditional kitchen (very big to hold a proper party) with a pizza oven! This is possibly the most interesting and comfortable flat we have ever stayed in - its main value is its quirkiness, fantastic location and lovely landlords. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good time and a bit of adventure :)		Overall Satisfacation
