Convenient, roomy and good value. The apartment is bigger than it looks in the photo. Everything worked and was of good quality. 25 minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio so good position. Incredibly spacious and well equipped Hilary from United Kingdom, Stayed for 0 days in December, 2011 My family of five stayed in Via Pignone, Oltrarno 2b/2ba. We were very grateful to have stayed here for two nights at the end of December. We chose this apartment primarily because of how incredibly spacious it was and that it allowed us to park our rental car for free on a nearby street safely. Although the apartment is not directly in the centre of the city, it was only about a 25 minute walk to the Duomo. There is a fabulous nearby pasticceria we discovered on the Via del Ponte Sospeso, where we bought delicious pastries and hot chocolate for breakfast each morning. The space was clean, the beds were comfortable, and all basic amenities provided. Our only complaints would be that the apartment was very cold when we first arrived and it took quite a long time to for it to heat up. We also had minor issues with the hot water and the electricity the first night, although we were warned of this when we checked in. The second night we had no problems whatsoever. Overall, the location and size of the apartment were unbeatable for us and we had a very pleasant stay.		Overall Satisfacation
Wonderfully spacious oasis in Florence Eugenio from Montreal, Stayed for 0 days in May, 2011 Wonderful apartment. Comfortable and spacious. Big rooms with high ceilings and basically two separate "bedroom wings" off the living room. Very private if you have guests or share with another couple. Nice bathrooms. Airy and bright kitchen with good size dining room. Comfortable furniture throughout (desk in main bedroom, additional large table in living room, and so on). Plenty of storage space. Not a tourist area. Across the river from lovely large park (jogging, etc.). Easy access by tram to main railway station. Nice walk along the river (about 15 minutes) to the city center. Easy check-in and check-out, prompt responses to any requests. We had a wonderful stay. Truly an oasis of cool comfort and space in crowded Florence. A perfect Christmas away in Florence! Kevin from Australia, Stayed for 0 days in December, 2010 We were in Florence for five weeks to have a bit of quiet and to catch up some work and this apartment was ideal: spacious, generously equipped and decorated, and set away a little from the frenetic activity in the historic centre, which remained conveniently accessible via the excellent new tramway (the nearest stop is half a block away). The apartment is in an inner-city residential area, close to the supermarket at Via Pisana and parkland (Cascine) - it really became our home for a time and a wonderful place to spend a family Christmas away. Of course, this is all made possible by the affordable monthly rate, the fast Internet connectivity (to keep us working and in contact with the world) and the Bialetti cafetieres (to keep our minds functioning)! To ice the cake, Lorenzo and the staff at apartmentsFlorence.it were wonderful: pleasant, accommodating, punctual, helpful, responsive and attentive; they even offered to extend our stay on a low, daily rate if we had problems flying out in the storms.
