A wonderful Florence studio apartment rental, once the location for the 1970 movie "Metello", located just a few hundred meters from Piazza del Carmine and the Cappella Brancacci. Piazza Santo Spirito, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio, the Central Station and the Duomo are all within easy walking distance. The bus stop to Siena (which is 45 minutes) is just on the doorstep making it a really wonderful vacation accommodation or long term rental in Florence's historic centre.

This great apartment features a kitchenette, a beautiful little terrace, Wi-Fi, a queen-size bed, a stereo and three complimentary bottles of wine from the owner’s vineyards in the Chianti. There is no television but there are much better things to do in Florence - for example, sipping wine on the terrace and watch the nuns of the convent picking vegetables from their garden right in front of you.

The owner of the apartment is a film producer, well known by the locals, who is more than happy to offer suggestions to help discover the delights of Florence away from the well-beaten track. A list of local restaurants, bars and venues is provided with a special password to help you save some money and be treated as a local, he can also provide two bicycles for you to use during your stay.

The studio has a garage in the basement for a small car for 18 euro a day, which, considering the street rates of Florence is a good deal.
