A lovely apartment located in the wonderful Oltrarno area of historical Florence overlooking the River Arno.
Accommodation Firenze Italy: This wonderful home rental is located in Florence city center, third-floor apartment (approx. 60 stairs) in an ancient Florentine building on the River Arno, only a short distance from the spectacular landmarks of the city.
It is in the ancient Oltrarno area, rich in history, it was the home of hundreds of artisan workshops and Florentine craftsmen and today retains this fantastic character with small boutiques and great restaurants.
The living area of this lovely Italian vacation rental apartment, contains a comfortable seating area, a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, with breakfast bar, and a spectacular balcony with a beautiful view across the river to some of Florence’s most famous monuments. Just upstairs a loft area with an additional single bed, can be used for additional guests.
The extensive master bedroom is beautifully furnished with a queen-size bed and antique pieces providing ample storage, the bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower.

An excellent location while touring Florence Pattersons from Dublin, Ireland, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2012 An excellent, quiet location while touring Florence. The view from the balcony is better than the picture on the website. We ate on the balcony every time we ate in the apartment. It is shaded at lunchtime and in the sun in the evening. This side of the arno is much quieter and the apartment is about half a mile from the main tourist sites. The kitchen is adequately equipped. The apartment has a large double bedroom with aC and a loft with a single bed above the sitting room which also has aC. Downsides were the heat in august on the top floor, narrow stairs and no lift and there was a 50% premium on electricity rates (written in the contract) over normal rates, which made a week's aC quite expensive. |
