This generous, charming holiday flat in Florence is in a wonderful location, walking distance to all the important sights as Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery and Piazza Santa Croce.

The apartment entrance is in an eat-in kitchen on the ground floor and the rest of the apartment is on the first floor (just 10 steps). The first floor features a large living area, flooded with natural light from the magnificent double height windows and parquet flooring that flows throughout the house, it is perfect for unwinding after a long day. There is also a small reading table with lamp.

The two bedrooms are equally spacious, both with queen-size beds and ample storage space. The full bathroom includes a bath (with shower function) as well as laundry facilities.

An efficient Air Conditioning system is in every room, Wifi throughout, and a dishwasher and an LCD TV.

It has a supermarket within a block, not to mention wonderful restaurants, shops and even museums. If you cross the street you'll have a perfect view of Ponte Vecchio: take an unforgettable picture during the sunset!

Christmas in Florence AndrewK from Nottingham UK, Stayed for 0 days in December, 2012 We needed two rooms as our son was joining us from Hong Kong and needed his own space to cope with jet lag. That worked well. The weather was cold and dampish, but the air-conditioning soon blasted away the cold when we came back to the appartment. And the bedding was up to the cold nights as well. When we arrived the WiFi connection wasn't working, but Cesare worked on the glitch until he traced it, and by lunchtime Day 2 it was up and didn't go down the rest of our week. So the one problem we had was solved without fuss. The arrival and departure procedures worked fine. The appartment was clean. And it is well placed to walk into the Centro Storico, or along the river.		Overall Satisfacation
Amazing place to stay in Florence! Melinda from Singapore, Stayed for 0 days in October, 2012 Located very near to Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio, gotta love the location. The apartment is spacious, more than comfortable for the 4 of us. It's clean, cosy and quiet, a good place to rest after a long fantastic day in Florence. Piazza Mentana apartment was nice & spacious A pleased family from San Francisco, CA, USA, Stayed for 0 days in June, 2012 We enjoyed our stay at the Piazza Mentana apartment which was near the Uffizi and the Piazza Della Signora. The duplex apartment was a spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The eat-in kitchen was on the ground floor and the rest of the apartment was on the first floor. The bathroom had a bathtub which is not common in Italy apartments. There was sufficient lighting throughout and the beds were comfortable. The apartment had wi-fi which was great, but the cable TV only had Italian channels. The apartment had air conditioning in every room which was essential when temperatures soared over 90 degrees F during our stay. The apartment is quiet in the evenings. Cesare from the agency gave a warm welcome, provided directions to the nearest supermarket and and shared restaurant recommendations. We have one suggestion - the apartment should have dish towels to dry dishes. Overall, this apartment is a great base during our stay in Florence. perfect - except the shower SFO GlobetrottER from San FranC\cisco, Stayed for 0 days in April, 2012 Piazza Mentana could not be located more conveniently - 10+ minutes to the Duomo, but a world away from the insanity of the crowds. It was delightlful to walk through Piazza della Signoria twice (at least!) a day on our way in and out. The first wonderdful (and slightly un-Italian thinkg) was that when they opened the door, we were in the apartment - no 10 flights of stairs. After a long day of travel, that was very welcome. One flight of stairs in the apartment up to the bedrooms, living area and bathroom. Bedrooms were fine - my children shared a room and I had the other. The beds were a little on the hard side, but that seems to be the case most places we travel, so I don't know that it is their "fault" We didn't spend much time in the living area, but it seemed fine. I took off a 5th star for the shower...they have tried to convert a typical European shower into a western shower. There is an handle to hold the shower overhead, but if you use that - water goes everywhere... so we ended up using the one at waist level which wasn't as convenient, but it made for less water on the floor. They have also done a common European thing of putting two shower curtains together around the tub = it doesn't work really well. On the plus side, there is plenty of hot water and good water pressure. So after the first showers resulting in our one little Lake Mentana, we got the hang of it. We did actually cook (not much) and had breakfast in the apartment everyday. There was a dishwasher - but there didn't seem to e enough dishes to use the dishwashe, so I hand washed which was no problem, but a sponge would have been better than the washcloth I used. At check in, they left a bottle of wine (very decent stuff!) At check out, they called us a cabv- they were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again - maybe I'd bring a sponge :-) Piazza Mentana is fantastic		Overall Satisfacation
Brilliant Stay Helen from Gloucester, Stayed for 0 days in September, 2011 We stayed at the Piazza Mentana apartment for a long weekend and had a fabulous time. The location was incredible and the apartment really made the experience :-) The crockery and kettle could have done with a bit of an upgrade but it didn't detract from our stay. Would book again! Truly Felt Like a Home away From Home Ana from Miami, FL, Stayed for 0 days in July, 2011 We've just returned from a 6 1/2 week stay at the Piazza Mentana apartment just off the arno River, and we miss it already. There's just not enough I could say about the place, and the people I dealt with at apartments Florence. From the very beginning, Apartments Florence did everything possible to make reserving and checking in a breeze. When we arrived in Florence after a long flight, we were tired and hoping for the best, but not knowing what to expect. (These days, you tend to assume the worst when doing business with an unfamiliar party.) But literally minutes after we called to say we had arrived, a very nice young man arrived to get us all set up. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. I cooked quite a bit while there, and found the kitchen had pretty much everything I needed. The apartment's Wi-Fi worked well all over the apartment, which was great since I was studying and working remotely while in Florence. Lots of great natural light, and not too much noise, even though the location is so central, it's a pleasure to walk to any of the major sights. Even the Santa Maria Novella train station is only about a 10 to 15 minute walk away (something which we did multiple times on weekend excursions out of Florence). Regarding maintenance, we had just one minor issue, which was resolved immediately once we contacted apartments Florence. And when sadly it was time to go, the check-out was just as efficient as the check-in (though not as pleasant, because we knew we'd have to leave behind "our apartment" in Florence). All in all, I had a great experience at the Piazza Mentana apartment, and will highly recommend apartments Florence to family and friends.
