Resort: Busy resort, in the south-western part of the region, in a convenient position, 85 km south-west from Mßlaga, 25 km west from Marbella. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: railway station "Fuengirola" 55 km. Bus service. Gibraltar 60 km. Algeciras 50 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Mßlaga (AGP) 80 km. Today it is one of the main tourist towns on the Costa del Sol. In the immediate vicinity there is a nature reserve which has existed since 1981, Costa Natura, which stretches to the sea.
