River Bend Lodge better known as "The Sea" is a breathtaking, mind blowing River Front Paradise surrounded by water and nature. This home has an abundance of privacy, natural flowing waters, peace and majestic bliss!!!
The outdoors is a true wonderland with the many trees encasing the surroundings, which all opens to this Mansion on the river. The pool has a great area for lounging and sunbathing. Or, you can enjoy the many decks on the back side of the home which all overlook the river.
Get ready to have a blast in this river! Tubing is a favorite among all renters or lounge on any of the many large rocks while letting the water flow and bubble on each side of you. Got a fisherman in the crowd? Lots of trout to be caught here! The sounds of this flowing water is truly magical!!
. The living room with a wall of glass overlooking the flowing rapids is a perfect place for the family to sit and enjoy the company. A flat screen TV, with satellite is provided for your enjoyment and a gas log fireplace for those cool winter months.
Everyone will love the large Fully Equipped Kitchen and dining area for 16. This room also overlooks the escape of the river rapids. A breakfast nook has also been provided for 8.
If you need to get a little work done during your relaxing vacation, don't worry, an office with high-speed WIFI is ready and waiting!
On this main level, you'll be find 2 Queen bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms. Both bedrooms walk out onto the spacious main level deck and out to the river. Both are also just steps away from the Hammock by the Rapids. The main level has a great recreation game area for the kids with a Ping Pong Table.
Don't forget to take a dip in the 6 person Hot Tub perched on the main deck but hidden among the Bamboo!!!! You'll be Relaxed and Rejuvenated from the bubbling heat and jets plus the musical sounds of the flowing river!
Upstairs you'll be amazed by this movie star master suite with its Cathedral ceilings, surrounding mirrors and glass and private decks! The master bath will blow you away with a Jacuzzi tub, tiled shower with a sauna.
The upstairs bedrooms also feature 2 queen bedrooms, 1 bedroom with a daybed which connects to the master (great for kids) and a bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. All bedrooms have a walk out to a small ledge or deck overlooking the beautiful river rapids. 2 great sized full bathrooms are provided for all to share.
The laundry room is located upstairs for guests to use.
There is a fabulous recreation room on the upper level with a magnificent pool table and living area and card table!! There are lots of books and movies provided!!!
Wow!!!! So much to offer in this amazing home!!! You'll feel like royalty staying here. Comfortably sleeps 15 guests. If you have a larger party we have a 4 bedroom next door called River Bend Lodge #1 (The Warehouse).
This rental is Pet-Friendly with a 2 pet limit. If you will bring your pet there will be a $20 fee per Pet per Night added to the rental.

Loved this property BUT Bettina B. from Lawrenceville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2013 Drive into this property is scary after dark. It should be suggested to renter to arrive prior to dark. Also, it should be notified that property is 12 miles outside of blueridge. Only other thing, couldnt get the fire place to come on and I was looking forward to the waterfall in the entrance BUT it did not work. Other than that, this house is HUGE and AMAZING! Lots of hidden treasures, The river is ABSOLUTLY GORG,and is such a Tranquil sound to awake to! Oh, downstairs bedroom needs a TV we didnt utilize it because it dint have one. Family Fun at River Bend 2!! Kecia H. from avondale estates, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 Family had a great time in the pool, wading in the river and on the property in general!! Ample accomodations for 9 kids and 6 adults! Our only complaint was the quality of the furnishings inside and out. Several of the outside deck chairs are ripped and worn. On the inside, the decor inside is a little dated, particularly in the master suite (missing blind panels, shag carpet). It would have been great if there were a TV in the pool room/game room for the kids to watch movies. These are all minor compared to the joy of spending a week with family and all the amenities included. Thanks to everyone! Loved having the option of the pool in the front of the house and the creek in the back of the house. The deck was huge! The layout of the cabin is a bit strange, but overall it's a great place, and we fully intend on staying there again next summer. Semi happy with property/extremely happy with Mangement Co. Beth E. from Orange Park, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 The Property Management Co was excellent. Just a few items to go over as to the property. The master needs new blinds and drapes. When you go on vacation you think you may want to sleep a little later, but not in that room. Glass sliding doors need work, some of them need track work, hard to open. Great kitchen, but when you have 15 people to cook for, there are not enough cooking untensils, and serving dishes. Kitchen really could use a electic griddle for pancakes. Hard cooking pancakes for 15 people in a frying pan. Overall had a nice time, probably would not rent this property again. But will contact the management co to see what is available the next time we head north. Horrible Stay A guest from Douglasville, Georgia does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 There are numerous things to mention but I'll just list the top 5 reasons that our stay was horrible:1) They scheduled a surveyor to visit the property during our first day. He was there for almost 3 hours and wouldn't let us come outside. Who does that? How rude! 2) The outside areas were filthy! No care or cleaning had been given to them in what looked like months. We could not use any of the outdoor seating. 3) The pool was just stagnant water filled with bugs and spiders. We could not use it.4) The inside of the house was a nice 85 degrees when we arrived, no one bothered to have the house cool when we arrived. And there were dead bugs all over the place. We will never use this location or this company ever again. It was clear that they did not care about our visit since they did nothing to make our stay enjoyable. River Bend Lodge #2 Our Group Gave it a Thumbs Up Reviewed by: joann r. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2011 In the master bedroom:? We suspect that there may have been mold in the room which may have contributed to one of our members feeling sick. When it rained, water was leaking from the ceiling down the carpeted walls leading from the bedroom to the restroom. It caused a foul odor.? In the linen area, when he turned on the light, he saw cobwebs. ? There was something pink on the carpet. Not sure what it was .? He could not use the jacuzzi because black debris came out of the faucet. Management should run the water to clear this before guests arrive.? It was cold in the room because there was no thermostat in the room. Other comments: ? Other rooms upstairs were cold because of an inability to regulate the thermostat.? In room to the left of the front entrance and left of the kitchenette, there was a leak in the ceiling.? The room with the ping pong table had garbage in the closet. ? One of the wooden chairs in the dining room was broken. It caved in when one of the men in our group sat on it. We recognize that these are all things that can easily be remedied and on completion of such remedies we would definitely consider renting again in the future. Overall the cabin and location were ideal for our group and basically, everyone was pleased. We would definitely recommend it to others.
