BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This spacious home is located about halfway down the Paradise Valley, between Livingston and Yellowstone National Park. Gorgeous views of Emigrant Peak are just out your back door and you are just minutes from the Yellowstone River!
BEDROOMS AND BATHS: This home has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. On the main level of the home is the master bedroom with a queen size bed and private bath. The room is very spacious with a small desk and wooden rocking chair. The bathroom features a large soaking tub and a separate shower with rainwater showerhead. The other three bedrooms are on the lower level of the home. There is a room with a second queen size bed, a room with two twins and a third small room with a single twin. These bedrooms share a large full bathroom off the hall with a tub and shower combo plus a half bath. The second half bathroom is just off the main living area upstairs. In addition, the family room futon can serve as a sleeping area if needed. The home can accommodate up to eight guests.
KITCHEN: This fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need to cook up some good meals for the crew. In addition to all the cookware and serving ware you will need, there is a good spice cabinet and a gas grill outside for barbecues.
DINING AREA: The dining area adjoins the kitchen and living area with a harvest table that will seat up to eight comfortably. There is room for two additional guests at the bar separating the dinner area from the kitchen or out on the deck.
LIVING ROOM: The living room has comfy furniture situated around the gorgeous gas rock fireplace. Doors lead out to the deck as well. With the doors open and ceiling fans on, you?ll enjoy a nice flow of air through the home. During the rare weeks of the year that we have really warm weather, the home also has A/C. If your group needs some more room, there is a family room on the lower level. The lower level family room has seating around the television area. The TV has satellite and a DVD/VCR. There is a sliding door that opens to a cool, shady stone patio.
SETTING, ACREAGE, VIEWS: Silver Peaks is on 2.8 hillside acres above the Paradise Valley. There are a few neighbors within sight, but the home enjoys unobstructed views of nearly the entire valley and the rugged Absaroka Mountains as well. The deck is designed to maximize the views with clear panels instead of wooden railing running the full length of the house.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing on the Yellowstone River just minutes away, horseback riding, rafting, golf, tours of Yellowstone National Park and everything that the towns of Livingston and Bozeman have to offer. The homeowners have left a generous library of information on hiking/fishing access points and many local hiking trails.
CLOSEST TOWN AND AIRPORT: It's about one hour to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. Livingston and Gardiner are both about 30 minutes from the home.
